Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented AR/AP Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both receivables and payables efficiently. Qualified candidates will be selected for interviews based on experience and alignment with the requirements below.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts for non-payment or delayed payments
- Follow up on outstanding balances via phone, email, and written communication
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process credit memos and approved write-offs
Accounts Payable
- Review, enter, and code vendor invoices
- Perform three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and receiving documents)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
General Accounting Duties
- Enter and maintain accurate data in NAV accounting software
- Assist with account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records
- Prepare reports for management as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting systems (NAV experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
