Work Environment

This is an onsite position within a home care environment, which means you will conduct your sessions in various residential settings. This unique work structure allows for flexibility in scheduling and a personalized approach to patient care. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 7 AM to 4 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while providing critical care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and functional limitations.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the patient's unique needs and align with the physician's plan of care.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance recovery.
• Deliver patient education and engage families in the rehabilitation process, ensuring they are informed and actively participate in care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and adapt treatment strategies in response to therapy outcomes.
• Meet specified utilization goals while ensuring each patient receives exceptional care and attention.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Our practice focuses on understanding the individual circumstances and goals of each patient, allowing for customized therapy solutions tailored to their specific recovery needs. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
