This position requires a night shift, working 12-hour shifts with a 3-day work cycle.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide direct patient care to a cardiac population. This role focuses on patients who may require constant monitoring and interventions for conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and other cardiac concerns.

Responsibilities

• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Monitor and assess patients in the PCU/IMCU setting.
• Provide care to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as needed.
• Ensure compliance with BLS and ACLS protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of documented experience in a similar-sized progressive care or intermediate care facility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with cardiac populations is essential.
