As a crucial member of our detox center, you will engage in therapeutic interventions, manage an active caseload, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote mental well-being and recovery among clients facing various mental health disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique remote working environment, allowing you to connect with clients through telehealth services, which provides flexibility while ensuring you can deliver essential support to those in need. The absence of evening and weekend shifts means that your work-life balance is maintained, with office hours predominantly from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and improving quality of life.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to provide psychotherapy services, ensuring that approaches are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Maintain a detailed and organized caseload, ensuring timely evaluations and follow-ups to monitor progress and adapt interventions as necessary.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, utilizing established protocols to support clients during critical moments.

• Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, ensuring holistic responses to complex mental health issues.

• Identify when clients require referral for inpatient care or specialized services, and facilitate those connections to ensure continuity of care.

• Screen clients for substance abuse issues, including prescription medications and illicit substances, and provide appropriate counseling or referrals to additional resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will impact a diverse population of clients, many of whom are navigating the challenges of detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. You will work closely with individuals facing mental health issues rooted in trauma, addiction, and transitional life phases, providing support and guidance that empowers them to reclaim their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Massachusetts license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrable clinical skills, including experience in evidence-based practices relevant to substance use and mental health treatment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

• Proficiency in computer systems for managing patient records and documentation is essential.
