Associate - Energy and Project Finance

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their Energy and Project Finance group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance transactions, particularly in renewable power and energy transition. Duties Draft primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, and financing agreements. Collaborate with sponsors, investors, developers, and lenders on project finance transactions. Take significant responsibility in managing and executing transactions. Work effectively within a deadline-driven environment. Requirements 4-7 years of experience in project finance transactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where you will sit. Education Strong academic credentials. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Ability to draft complex legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
