Finance Project Assistant

Epicurean Group is hiring immediately for an on call FINANCE PROJECT ASSISTANT position.

Location: Epicurean HQ - 111 Main Street, Los Altos, CA 94022. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: On call schedule. Days and hours may vary. Further details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous experience preferred. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour to $52.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Compiles and maintains accounts payable records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
• Distributes signed checks as required.
• Prepares garnishment checks per reports from payroll.
• Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.
• Answers vendor inquiries.
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
• Assists Corporate Financial Officers and branch personnel as necessary.
• Prepares cleared checks for storage.
• Assembles and processes overnight shipments to branches.
• Assists in monthly closings.
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
• Performs filing and copying.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
