This full-time position operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing for greater flexibility for both our counselors and clients. The role entails standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional requirements for evening or weekend appointments to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and techniques to ensure the accuracy of evaluations.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals, regularly updating plans as clients progress.

• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to formulate comprehensive care strategies and share insights on case management.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold legal and ethical standards in client documentation, ensuring records are accurate and updated as per organizational policy.

• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, case conferences, and training sessions to elevate your skills and stay current with the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse clientele managing a variety of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, addiction, and chronic stress. You will engage with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, tailored to their unique situations and perspectives, fostering an inclusive therapy environment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license issued in New York.

• A Bachelor's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution.

• At least one year of proven experience in providing therapeutic services within a mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
