Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient treatment plans, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of dental terminology, enabling them to effectively communicate with both patients and dental professionals.

This is a dual role position and the treatment coordinator must also be a dental assistant willing to also work in the back office as an assistant as needed.

The position is Monday - Thursdays and alternating Saturdays.

Duties

• Manage patient treatment plans from initial consultation through completion of care.
• Schedule and confirm appointments while ensuring optimal patient flow.
• Provide patients with information regarding their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with office policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all necessary information is available for patient care.
• Assist in the management of office operations, including inventory control and supply ordering.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
• Assist in the back office as needed. Ranging from the taking of x-rays, chairside and sterilization.

Experience

• Previous experience in an office setting within a dental office.
• Familiarity with dental terminology is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to provide excellent administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Previous Dental assisting experience required.
