Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Welkins Mind Healthcare, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Delivering individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques aimed at facilitating personal growth and resolving conflicts. Collaboratively setting therapy goals with clients and continuously evaluating their progress towards achieving these objectives. Providing teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for clients who may prefer virtual appointments due to scheduling conflicts or personal circumstances. Maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions and progress notes to ensure compliance with ethical practices and regulatory standards. Engaging in continuous professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges, couples seeking to enhance their relationships, and families needing support in navigating complex dynamics. We particularly seek candidates with experience serving clients of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring they can provide culturally competent care to our wide-ranging community. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. A current state-issued license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). At least two years of full-time counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices. Experience working with couples, children, teens, and families in a therapeutic context. Preferred Experience While not required, candidates with any of the following experiences will be highly considered: Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, or family systems therapy). Proficiency in offering culturally responsive therapeutic practices to a diverse client base. Experience in group therapy settings, enhancing the therapeutic value for clients through shared experiences. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, with the potential for bonuses based on performance and session targets.
