Automotive Service Manager Full Time Service Management SOUTH POINT DCJR, AUSTIN, TX, US About the Opportunity Our franchised dealership is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and drive performance across customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational efficiency. This is a high-visibility leadership role for a proven fixed-ops professional who knows how to build a productive, accountable team and deliver a first-class customer experience. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity management Own department profitability — labor and parts gross, effective labor rate, hours per RO, and expense control Drive customer satisfaction and retention, holding the team accountable to CSI / Service NPS targets Manage, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians; recruit and retain top talent Oversee warranty administration and ensure claims are submitted accurately and within manufacturer deadlines Maximize technician productivity and efficiency through effective dispatching and flat-rate performance management Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, safety regulations, and all applicable state and federal requirements Partner with sales and parts departments to support overall dealership performance Monitor key metrics daily and build action plans to close performance gaps Reports to : General Manager / Fixed Operations Director Compensation: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (base + performance bonus) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts Ongoing manufacturer and leadership training Clear path for advancement within a growing dealership group #J-18808-Ljbffr
