Position Overview

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each phase of the procedure
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring doctors to guarantee high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and upkeep imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records within the electronic information system
• Remain informed about advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
