Human Resource Clerk

An employer is seeking a Human Resource Clerk for a contract opportunity in Decatur, IL. This role will support the HR team by organizing and maintaining active and terminated employee files, scanning and filing documents, and ensuring personnel records remain accurate and confidential.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing sensitive information while supporting a variety of administrative HR functions.

Required Skills & Experience

Administrative, filing, or records management experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written and professionalism


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Human Resources experience
Experience with onboarding new hires (processing I-9s, assisting with paperwork, assisting with benefits enrollment, etc.)
Experience using SAP SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS
Bilingual English/Spanish skills
Manufacturing environment experience
