What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care in a hospital setting
• Manage patients with benign and malignant hematologic conditions
• Support hematology/oncology team during day shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff including APs and physicians
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and procedures related to hematology
• Participate in rounding, documentation, and patient management
• Work within the EPIC electronic medical record system

What You Need

• Valid Minnesota license as PA or advanced practice provider
• Minimum of 1+ years' experience with hematology patients
• Strong knowledge of benign and malignant hematologic conditions
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass credentialing within 60-90 days
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with inpatient support

About the Assignment

This position is based in a respected hospital in Minneapolis, MN, with a focus on inpatient hematology and oncology care. The hospital has a total of 686 beds and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient services. The hematology APP will support the expansion of the hospital's bone marrow program and manage a diverse patient population. Scheduled shifts are days, Monday through Friday, with support provided by experienced APPs during weekdays.
