Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations to establish accurate diagnoses and create actionable treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and performing therapeutic procedures as determined necessary for patient care.
• Engage with patients through education and counseling to promote health maintenance, provide disease prevention strategies, and support chronic condition management.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, facilitate referrals, and ensure seamless continuity of medical services across all care settings.
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to healthcare regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner with AssistMed, you will care for patients of all ages, focusing on those with various acute and chronic health conditions. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

This Nurse Practitioner role offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000, commensurate with experience.
