Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem Staff Pharmacist position is available in Orland Park, IL, providing coverage for a home infusion pharmacy from November 13 to 30, 2026. This role supports patients requiring specialized IV and infusion therapies for both acute and chronic conditions. Training will be provided to ensure comfort with pharmacy systems and workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process physician orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations following established standards.
• Ensure the safe dispensing of medications and infusion-related supplies.
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: Experience with infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding.
• Knowledge of USP sterile compounding standards.
• Strong communication, multitasking, time-management, and critical-thinking skills.

Schedule:

• November 13–30, 2026.
• Monday through Friday, no weekends.
• Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Onsite in Orland Park, IL.
