Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern clinic, collaborating with a team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured working environment that promotes work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient needs, establishing personalized treatment goals that facilitate patient engagement and motivation.
• Maintain a manageable caseload with one patient scheduled per hour to effectively provide quality care and attention.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to develop comprehensive care plans for each patient.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that emphasize non-pharmacological pain management and minimize reliance on surgical options.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with patient-specific goals for strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Closely monitor patient progress, documenting treatment sessions and outcomes within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance on lifestyle modifications that promote healthy habits based on patient capabilities.
• Encourage ongoing patient participation in their recovery process by motivating them throughout their treatment journey.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient feedback and clinical findings.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• No disciplinary actions have been recorded against your license, maintaining a clean professional standing.
• Strong manual therapy skills paired with proficiency in developing effective therapeutic exercise routines.
• Experience utilizing EMR software like WebPT for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is a DPT degree and relevant licensure, we prefer candidates with previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and patient engagement strategies will be viewed as beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your contributions and expertise, we are offering a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
