As a full-time Physical Therapist, you'll work onsite within a supportive team atmosphere, where collaboration and communication are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of patients, ensuring they receive personalized and effective care.
• Maintain a patient load that averages one patient per hour, allowing you to provide focused, high-quality interventions and establish meaningful connections with those you serve.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide treatment options that help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their physical abilities without reliance on medication when possible.
• Promote proactive health and wellness strategies through individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
• Continuously evaluate patients' progress and document all treatment services accurately in our EMR system, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping that supports continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care across various disciplines, understanding that a multidisciplinary approach supports better outcomes.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment process, emphasizing the importance of active participation in their own recovery.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance treatment strategies and share insights that contribute to our collective knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, many of whom are athletes or active individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a proficiency in developing effective, evidence-based exercise routines tailored to diverse patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT, essential for maintaining documentation and tracking patient progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, as it will enable you to contribute immediately to our team.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients effectively, ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship and fostering trust.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, reflecting the level of expertise and commitment you bring to our practice.
