This full-time role allows you to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families within our community through both telehealth and in-person therapeutic sessions. Work Environment\n

Our work setting is designed for flexibility and efficiency, allowing for a harmonious work-life balance. As a remote position, you will have your choice of work environment, which promotes both convenience and productivity. Our clinic operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing ample scheduling opportunities for both clients and clinicians. We have a supportive team that assists with client scheduling and extended service hours to ensure optimal care for our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Delivering effective individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education focused on trauma-informed practices.
\n
• Staying updated on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals who have experienced trauma and related psychological challenges. As a counselor, your role will be pivotal in fostering resilience within this demographic and promoting long-term mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LPC in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Strong ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• Proven track record of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
