Work Environment

This role is specifically designed for a home care setting in Punta Gorda, allowing therapists the flexibility to establish their own schedules from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their home environments to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modern rehabilitation equipment.
• Monitor and document the progress of each patient, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement and alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training for patients, caregivers, and family members on best practices for recovery and the use of assistive devices.
• Maintain robust communication with other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in continuing education and personal development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse clientele includes children recovering from sports injuries, adults recovering from surgical procedures, and seniors managing chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic word processing software.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in various patient settings.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a home care setting is beneficial, it is not required. New graduates passionate about providing high-quality patient care are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
