New York,NY Description Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to support a high-profile corporate office environment in New York, NY . This 2-month contract-to-hire role is ideal for a polished and detail-oriented facilities professional with strong vendor coordination experience and the ability to support operations within an active office renovation environment. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm EST, with occasional weekend coverage based on event needs and flexed time during the week. Job Description:
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure facility-related work orders and projects are completed efficiently
• Manage vendor access and support scheduling for maintenance, repair, and renovation activities within occupied office spaces
• Oversee work order ticketing systems and provide updates on project and maintenance progress
• Support preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of facility tasks
• Assist with office renovation activities including carpet replacement, patching, painting, and furniture moves
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project timelines, disruptions, and operational impacts
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and smooth office operations
• Collaborate with facilities, workplace experience, and events teams to support daily office functionality
• Monitor facility operations and proactively identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency and service delivery
• Ensure all work is completed in alignment with safety procedures and client expectations Must Have Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in facilities coordination, office operations, workplace services, or related support roles
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and facility-related projects
• Strong tactical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with work order ticketing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Nice to Have Qualifications:
• Understanding of office operations and how facilities work impacts occupied workspaces
• Experience supporting office renovations or workplace improvement projects
• Experience collaborating with workplace experience, facilities, or events teams
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
