Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence Cell Therapy

Position Summary Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence (CI) will be the point of contact and support all aspects of a comprehensive CI program based on an internal consultative engagement with ~3-4 primary stakeholders to strategically support BMS’ multiple myeloma portfolio, with a focus on GPRC5D and BCMA x GPRC5D CAR T. The role delivers timely, relevant and strategic insights through effective communication of intelligence, manages external CI vendors/partners, and leverages relevant internal tools and platforms (including AI). This position will report to the Vice President, Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Foresight and works closely with the therapeutic CI lead for Cell Therapy. Key Responsibilities Execute the comprehensive competitive intelligence (CI) strategic plan for select MM areas within BMS’ hematology/cell therapy portfolio. Align with stakeholder priorities and strategic imperatives based on prioritized KT/ KIQs. Lead and manage all CI activities within budget, based on established strategy and CI plan led by the Cell Therapy CI Lead. Assess the competitive environment and emerging scientific data to inform R&D, clinical, regulatory, access and commercial strategies. Conduct analyses and research based on Key Intelligence Topics/Questions while synthesizing insights to provide actionable recommendations. Implement all elements of internal CI model based on consultative engagement with key stakeholders. Execute all projects within budget, in a timely fashion. Ensure appropriate dissemination of, and access to, competitive intelligence for strategic questions. Demonstrate high standards of business integrity and hold others accountable. Respond to ad-hoc key business questions with expert analysis. Qualifications BA/BS required; MBA, PharmD, or PhD preferred. A minimum of 3 years of competitive intelligence (primary and secondary research) or relevant experience. Experience designing and facilitating competitive simulation workshops. Experience in hematology/cell therapy is preferred, particularly multiple myeloma. Demonstrated ability to quickly build proficiency in new categories or therapeutic areas. Solid business understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization pathways. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize and analyze across data sources. Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences. Proven leadership of projects with effective time and resource management. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across organizational lines and geographies. Experience supporting business decision-making in a complex corporate environment. Proficiency in data visualization, strategic storytelling, and AI-enabled tools is preferred. Benefits Competitive salary range: $152,150 - $184,370, location dependent. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility.
