Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories and performing comprehensive physical assessments to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes that align with their preferences and needs.
• Implement treatment protocols efficiently, adjusting methodologies based on individual patient presentations and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, recognizing changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to existing care plans.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge planning, to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate continuity of care.
• Manage schedules effectively and meet productivity standards while actively engaging in promotional activities within the hospital and community.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to improve overall service delivery and comply with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional competency and coach/mentor students and new staff.
• Encourage a positive patient experience and foster great access to care through flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs.
• Take part in initiatives aimed at breaking down barriers to patient access as part of our broader commitment to community health enhancement.

We cater to patients with varying needs, from orthopedic rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is a prerequisite.
• While 2 years of prior experience is preferred, we are open to recent graduates who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems will be beneficial to streamline documentation processes.
• Skills in community outreach and marketing within healthcare settings are viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
