Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30) every other weekend.

Assignment Details

No on-call required. Will float to postpartum if needed. Guaranteed hours: facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Two years of experience required.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM (AHA certification for ACLS/BLS).
• Licensure must be valid and up-to-date.
• Experience in fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries is essential.
• Charting experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in antepartum, labor, and postpartum settings.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist with C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Engage in couplet care for postpartum patients when necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
