In this remote position, you will be an integral part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, comprised of experienced psychiatrists and mental health practitioners. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, including assessing the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and strategies for self-care, fostering a deeper understanding of their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress continuously and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and augment treatment efficacy.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training to refine clinical skills and knowledge related to mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients predominantly struggle with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will work with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique circumstances and therapeutic requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is highly preferred.

• Proficient in the application of recognized treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists for comprehensive care plans.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse demographics.
