Supervision : Directs the activities and personnel of the Psychiatric Nursing Department. Oversees the hospital in the absence of the Administrator.

Experience: Three years of Psychiatric nursing management experience. At least four years of clinical experience in a Behavioral Health setting, with training and experience in the care of the mentally ill.

Education: Master's degree in nursing preferred. A bachelor's degree in nursing may be considered with appropriate experience in the nursing care of the mentally ill and documented evidence of on-going training in psychiatric or mental health nursing from a nurse with a Master's degree in Nursing.

Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse license required in the state where practicing. Current BLS certification is required. Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCM) education and certification is required within 30 days of hire. The Director of Nursing must maintain current licensure, BLS and CCM certifications while employed with EEBHH.
