Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Transplant ICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers Must-Have: - Trauma 1 experience - Travel experience - NxStage CRRT experience Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description incorporates essential functions that are adapted from nursing scope and standards of practice. Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment are required. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is necessary, typically acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Preferred skills and experience are not applicable.
