UNIQLO Human Resources Coordinator

$24.50 / hour – Sherman Oaks, CA Position Overview Reporting to the General Manager and Area HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide support for all HR functions in a large format UNIQLO store. Job Description Primarily work in stores with occasional travel between locations. Provide training to store employees on HR processes, employment laws, recruiting, and related topics. Partner with the Area Human Resources Manager on employee relations issues and staffing objectives. Process various reports and handle administrative HR tasks related to recording, policy, and procedure. Serve as liaison for employee relations questions, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers’ compensation, etc. Assist with interviews, investigations, disciplinary actions, and provide HR support at the store level. Collaborate with store managers, HR, training, and payroll teams. Utilize recruiting tools to post open positions and employ talent acquisition strategies, including on-site recruiting events and job fairs. Track all aspects of employment, including completing forms, conducting orientations, and notifying departments of new hires. Resolve HR issues promptly, partnering with HR when necessary. Maintain customer service standards, visual and cleanliness standards, and brand consistency. Be knowledgeable of fitting room standards and act as a cashier when required following protocol. Ensure payroll integrity and the payroll process. Maintain professional image and grooming standards reflecting the brand. Support multiple store locations and perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Effective communication and partnership skills. Knowledge of ADP PayForce and Workday. Ability to interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, and handle objects up to 10 pounds. Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom and perform repetitive bending, standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing. Schedule Requirements Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, evenings, and weekends as needed. Education / Experience Associate’s Degree in a related field, or 1+ year of Human Resources or Administration experience.
