Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations for clients to devise appropriate and personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure complete and holistic care for all clients.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date clinical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health through continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position caters to a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. As counselors, you will be equipped to address various mental health issues, providing tailored therapeutic strategies for each client’s distinct needs, and maintaining a strong focus on building rapport and trust through effective communication.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience providing counseling services in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems or similar documentation software, ensuring seamless record-keeping and compliance.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
