The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill an Analyst I position in the Human Resources Office.
POST may consider hiring at the Analyst II level. If you have previously applied for JC#523405 no need to reapply.The Analyst I is responsible for processing a full range of personnel, payroll and benefits administration. The incumbent is responsible for New Employee Orientation, off-boarding, payroll, attendance reporting, temporary disability programs, FMLA, Worker's Compensation, and other various personnel related transactions. Additionally, the incumbent provides technical expertise regarding the interpretation and application of rules, laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting. Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position.
This position is Hybrid and may be eligible for telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
