What this role is all about

At Sonesta, our Sales & Marketing teams help bring the brand to life - building relationships, driving revenue, and creating excitement around our hotels, restaurants, meetings, and guest experiences. As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day coordination of sales, marketing, events, and commercial activities that help keep the hotel connected, visible, and growing.


This role is perfect for someone who's organized, creative, detail-oriented, and excited to grow their career in hospitality sales and marketing. You'll support client communication, marketing initiatives, social content, reporting, events, sales coordination, and administrative operations across the commercial team.

What you'll be doing

• Support daily sales and marketing operations including administrative coordination, client communication, reporting, and event support.
  
  

• Assist with business transient, group, catering, and corporate sales activities including proposals, contracts, site tours, and lead management.
  
  

• Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, social media support, email marketing, and hotel collateral updates.
  
  

• Maintain CRM systems, account records, sales activity tracking, pipeline updates, and revenue reporting accurately and efficiently.
  
  

• Support the planning and execution of hotel events, networking opportunities, client meetings, trade shows, and community partnerships.
  
  

• Assist with creating presentations, sales materials, marketing content, and client-facing communications aligned with brand standards.
  
  

• Partner closely with Revenue Management, Catering, Operations, and hotel leadership teams to support commercial initiatives and guest experiences.
  
  

• Monitor online listings, hotel promotions, local marketing opportunities, and brand visibility efforts.
  
  

• Respond to client inquiries, coordinate follow-up communication, and help support exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  
  

• Maintain organization of sales files, contracts, marketing assets, calendars, and operational systems.
  
  

• Help foster a collaborative, energetic, and guest-focused culture aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
  
  

• Any other duties as assigned.
  
  

What great looks like

• Previous hospitality, hotel, sales, marketing, events, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  
  

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a professional and positive attitude.
  
  

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  
  

• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, social media platforms, and marketing tools preferred.
  
  

• Strong attention to detail with excellent administrative and coordination skills.
  
  

• Creative mindset with an interest in branding, marketing, hospitality trends, and guest engagement.
  
  

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support both operational and commercial teams.
  
  

• Strong written communication and presentation skills preferred.
  
  

• Flexible availability including occasional evenings, weekends, networking events, and hotel functions as needed.
  
  

• A passion for hospitality, relationship-building, teamwork, marketing, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  
  

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Pay Range $21.50 - $23.00/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
