Accountant

AccountantOur client is seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring the integrity of accounting data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, and overhead allocationsAssist with the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statementsPrepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and budget variance reportingSupport treasury reporting and cash management activitiesMaintain accurate financial data within the ERP/accounting systemInvestigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconciling items, and reporting issuesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits and tax filingsPartner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvementsParticipate in special projects and perform other accounting duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting required3–5 years of progressive accounting experiencePublic accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAPExperience with ERP/accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
