Kitchen Manager

The Nut House Pub & Grille at 295 S Water St, Kent, OH 44240 is hiring a Kitchen Manager to run daily kitchen operations, lead and train kitchen staff, and maintain food quality and ticket times during service, including stepping onto the line at peak hours. Pay is $60,000–$80,000/year, full-time, with nights and weekends required.

What you'll do:

• Manage all daily kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
• Step onto the line and support the team during peak hours
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and ticket times during busy service
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards are met
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and staff development
• Monitor inventory, food prep, ordering, and food cost controls
• Maintain strong communication between front and back of house
• Ensure kitchen safety and compliance with health regulations

What you'll need:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous kitchen management experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience managing labor, inventory, and kitchen operations
• Ability to multitask and solve problems quickly during service
• Nights and weekends required
