Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with us, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of symptoms associated with various mood disorders, including depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance client progress.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families about mood disorders and effective self-care strategies to promote mental well-being.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other medical professionals, to deliver integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and clinical advancements in mood disorder therapy to continuously improve treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients battling mood disorders, including those experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients are from varying backgrounds, including underserved communities, homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role is crucial in providing more than just therapy; you will be a beacon of hope, guiding clients towards recovery and resilience.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
