Sr. Manager, Franchising & Business Development, Popeyes, US&C

Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI) is recruiting a Sr. Manager, Franchising & Business Development for the Popeyes brand, based in Miami, FL. The role focuses on developing and expanding the Popeyes franchise network, managing day‑to‑day franchising cases, facilitating M&A transactions, and leading financial modeling and negotiations. Responsibilities Work closely with business unit leaders to develop and execute development and expansion strategy for long‑term growth of the Popeyes brand. Market the expansion opportunity externally and attract high‑quality prospective franchisees. Build and lead financial models, outputs, and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring. Conduct due diligence on prospective franchisees, including in‑person Discovery Days. Negotiate development agreements with prospective franchisees. Liaise between Development, Franchising, and Field teams to gather insights that inform negotiations. Develop and deliver presentations internally and externally to executive‑level leadership. Facilitate M&A transactions between franchisees and source new franchisees to expand the Popeyes footprint. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, corporate finance, franchising, or a related field. Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and project‑management skills. Proficiency in Excel‑based financial modeling, including scenario planning and deal structuring. Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to gather data and pitch to potential franchisee partners. Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability and passion for the brand’s success.
