We value our families and community: Paid time off Hardship Program-program tosupport staffduring challenging times Patriot Cares-nonprofit forcommunityoutreach How we support you professionally: This position is paid at a competitive hourly rate Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance/Supplemental insurance(beginsimmediatelyupon hire) Company 401K with4%company matching The responsibilities of our Administrative Medical Assistants include: Triage calls from patients, families, physician offices, and more Answer general information questions and deliver messages Work with the Clinical Managers with day to day operations Work with labs to complete billing claims Assist Clinical Manager in scheduling Home Health Aide visits Perform other duties as required Qualifications: Medical Background preferred Must have High School education Must have a minimum of six months office experience Must possess typing and clerical skills Must have a criminal background check Job Conditions: At times, there are deadlines that must be met It is primarily a desk position which involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking This position requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts The ability to read 12 point and larger type is required One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English Must be able to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment Patriot Homecare is an equal opportunity employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
