Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to engage with families and interdisciplinary teams without geographical constraints. As part of a hospice center, you will be involved in all aspects of early intervention services and have the opportunity to collaborate with other care providers to ensure holistic support for the youngest among us. Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of LICSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental needs.
\n
• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) based on evaluated needs and family input.
\n
• Monitoring the progress of children and adjusting interventions as necessary to meet developmental milestones.

• Providing emotional and practical support to families to enhance their child’s developmental skills.
\n
• Adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations and maintaining compliance within your practice.
\n
• Building rapport with children, families, and team members to promote a healthy and nurturing learning environment.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment approach to effectively recommend strategies tailored to each family’s needs.
\n
• Offering families a wealth of information, skills, and resources aimed at fostering their child’s growth and development.
\n
• Embracing a coaching model and delivering natural environment teaching methods.
\n
• Ensuring that health and safety standards are upheld for both staff and clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on assisting infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, helping them develop essential life skills during the critical early years of their lives. You will work closely with families to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their child's unique needs, providing insights on how best to support their growth in a natural learning environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LICSW licensure by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver's license is required for visits and assessments.
\n

Preferred Experience\n
