Strategic Finance Manager Our client, a proptech startup, is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to support financial planning, growth strategy, and capital-markets initiatives. Location San Francisco, CA. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration 3 days per week. Job Description Thefirm operates multiple revenue streams within the platform and continuesto expand its footprint through operational optimization and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys complex financial modeling, and can partner closely with executive leadership. Responsibilities Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, maintaining forward-looking financial models and reporting frameworks Deliver analyses and insights for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and board-level discussions Support capital markets initiatives, including relationship management, fundraising preparation, and due diligence activities Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams to evaluate new initiatives, model unit economics, and guide resource allocation Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance and key financial metrics Provide financial recommendations informed by a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and business model Prepare clear, concise presentations and analyses for internal stakeholders Support ad hoc financial projects, strategic reviews, and business case development Collaborate frequently with senior leaders, providing monthly reporting and analysis Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM, or related field 4–6 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Comfort level interacting with senior executives and external stakeholders Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Experience with financial systems and analytics tools is a plus Compensation Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual’s skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
