This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to provide remote support and therapy through telehealth services to patients in Jersey City, NJ, and surrounding areas. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for the flexibility to conduct sessions in a comfortable setting while connecting with patients through telehealth platforms. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs, environmental factors, and social contexts, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver individualized and effective therapeutic interventions to clients.

  • Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a community among participants and addressing prevalent mental health concerns.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care, maximizing therapeutic outcomes.

  • Provide crisis intervention services and compassionate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate care for those in need.

  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, suggesting appropriate treatment options and resources available in the community.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.
  • \n
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment modalities, evidenced through clinical experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of individual needs.

  • Strong experience in providing both individual and group therapy to diverse populations, adapting therapeutic strategies to meet varying needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing the ability to build therapeutic relationships and foster trust with clients.

  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to professional boundaries and best practices in mental health care.

  • Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant software applications necessary for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting, ideally involving telehealth services.

  • Experience working with specific populations, such as children/teens, veterans, or underserved communities, is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
