About the company Branded Independent is a talent management agency. We represent creators on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Our creators aren't accounts to us. They're people building careers, and we're in their corner for the whole thing. Brand deals are a big piece of it, but so is the strategy, the research, and the introductions. We've had clients come to us wanting sponsorships who ended up building a business. We're a startup, growing fast, working with brands people are glad to see on their feed. About the role You'll carry a roster of 10 to 15 creators and be their main point of contact. Half the job is brand deals. Research the brands, find the right person, write the outreach, run the call, negotiate, and manage it through delivery. The other half is the creator. Learn what they're building, bring them things that fit, and tell them when a deal isn't worth taking. How we work We run on creator time, not office time. Some days are quiet. Some days a deal breaks at 8pm and you handle it. That cuts both ways. Nobody counts your hours. But if you need a hard stop at five every day, this won't work. About the person Personality matters here more than experience. Outgoing people do well. We'd take too much energy over someone who blends in. You have to run yourself, and you have to like people. Creators will tell you about their business, life and their bad week. The relationship is what we do better than the rest Qualifications Experience in Sales and Influencer Marketing is a plus but No experience is required. We'll teach you the rates and the deal terms. What we can't teach: Hungry Mindset Coach-ability You can hear no a lot and keep going You can keep ten conversations moving without dropping any You watch creators already and have opinions When you say you'll do something, it gets done Multitasker Naturally Organized Delayed Gratification Compensation $40,000 base, paid monthly 5% commission on every deal you book, no cap First-year target: $70,000 Our first-year booking target is $600,000, which pays $30,000 in commission on top of base. A $20,000 deal puts $1,000 in your pocket. Starting in October. First paycheck in November.
