Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Med Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Hospice/Palliative Care, and patients with Intellectual Disabilities
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring; complete open-book EKG assessment at orientation
• Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health record system
• Participate in weekend coverage rotation (every other weekend; 12 weekend shifts per contract)
• Float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Minimum 1.5 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 1:6
• Must be agreeable to floating to a sister facility; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Experience with Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, or Bariatric patient populations
