In this part-time (0.5 FTE, approximately 18.75–20 hours per week) position, you’ll be an integral part of a dedicated team for the duration of the full school year. You’ll deliver both blended and onsite instruction within a high school alternative learning center, providing tailored academic and behavioral support aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (ABS, EBD, LD, or related MN SPED endorsement) required
• Experience supporting students in high school or alternative learning environments highly preferred
• Strong skills in instructional differentiation and behavioral intervention
• Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships with students who have individualized learning goals
• Effective communicator with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Implement and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school professionals and families
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Adapt lessons and interventions for a blended instructional model
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
