Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Administer evidence-based interventions, monitoring patients through a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and innovative modalities.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one individual per hour, ensuring comprehensive attention to each case.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate various treatment techniques to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly, maintaining clear communication with colleagues and healthcare providers.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to strive for optimal functional independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive patient support.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes periodically, adapting care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Promote wellness through education and personalized fitness programs, emphasizing preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will primarily be with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse patient base ranges from young athletes to seniors seeking to maintain their quality of life post-injury. Your role is integral in helping them navigate their rehabilitation process effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and methodical assessment processes.
• Exceptional ability to devise and implement individualized exercise protocols.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably using WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse caseload with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to apply advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
