Job Description

Warehouse Manager is a professional, responsible for overseeing the general operations of the warehouse and its staff. He/She will handle the recording and maintaining of inventory, advising the imports received and items exported. He/She is also responsible for training new employees/workers to ensure their performance is adequate, and maintain existing employees to ensure compliance with company policies and efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Job Functions

1)       Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance

2)       Plan and direct daily and weekly incoming and outgoing shipments with team

3)       Delegates responsibilities, expectations and timelines to warehouse supervisor

4)       Enforces and oversees company safety standards.

5)       Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy; meeting daily and weekly operational deadlines.

6)       Communicate job expectations and coach employees

7)       Determine staffing levels and assign workload

8)       Maintain items record, document necessary information and communicate properly to upper management

9)       Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

10)   Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

1. Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry Skills, Dependability.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Products; knowledge of Epicor/Eclipse reports, company processes, products, vendors and customers
