Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24.00–$25.00 per hour Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. You’ll be: Processing daily vouchers from vendors with accuracy and timeliness Managing bi-weekly accounts payable check runs, including voucher selection and check printing Maintaining accounts payable files and handling vendor inquiries or issues Conducting collection calls on overdue customer accounts Processing new customer information and credit references, forwarding details to the accounts receivable team Assisting the Accounting Manager with various projects and data processing duties across departments Ordering specific office supplies as needed Providing backup support to the receptionist for phone duties This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have 1–2 years of accounts payable experience (preferred) Are skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced office environment Possess experience working with PCs and Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrate strong professional communication skills and maintain a professional appearance Can accommodate visual requirements for reading computer screens and documents Are comfortable complying with safety requirements, including wearing safety glasses in shop areas eligible employees voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, term life, whole life, accident insurance, critical illness, a legal plan, and short-term disability. retirement savings plan, service bonus and holiday pay plans (earn up to eight paid holidays per benefit year), and a transit spending account. employees are entitled to earn paid sick leave under the applicable state or local plan.
