Remote Payroll Specialist

Detail-oriented and reliable, the Remote Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll processing for over 250 employees and contractors, ensuring compliance and accuracy while working closely with the Accounting Team in a full-time remote capacity. Key responsibilities Preparing and processing twice-monthly payroll and ensuring timely submission for approval Tracking and processing wage garnishments, PTO records, and payroll-related inquiries Collaborating with the Accounting Team to reconcile payroll transactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Required qualifications 2 to 3 years of payroll experience Experience with HR and payroll software, including QuickBooks Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to perform well under pressure and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
