Accounting Manager

Location Provo, UT (Hybrid – 3 days in office) We're partnering with a well-established investment and real estate organization that is looking to bring on an Accounting Manager to its growing finance team. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, mentoring staff, and working closely with executive leadership. This isn't a role for someone looking to manage from a distance. You'll be leading by example, working alongside your team, and collaborating with leadership in person several days each week . What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of two Staff Accountants, providing day-to-day guidance and development Review financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting deliverables for accuracy and timeliness Oversee partnership and ownership accounting activities across a multi-entity organization Coordinate annual audits and serve as a primary contact for external auditors Partner with finance, operations, and executive leadership on strategic accounting initiatives Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Drive process improvements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Previous experience managing or directly supervising accounting staff Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Professional, polished, and collaborative presence Local to the Provo area and comfortable working in the office at least 3 days per week , with flexibility to be onsite more frequently as business needs require The Right Fit Our client places a tremendous emphasis on culture.
