This community health center is one of the Northwest's largest, serving over 40 clinics across 18 communities in Washington and Oregon since 1973. The Pediatric Dentistry Department operates two specialized clinic sites: a 9-chair outpatient clinic with in-office dental anesthesia services and a 6-chair clinic focusing on patients with special health care needs, providing 12,000-16,000 patient visits annually.

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care in a community health setting serving underserved populations
• Supervise and provide clinical oversight to 6 pediatric dental residents in the NYU Langone Advanced Education Program
• Deliver direct patient care and clinical teaching in both clinic and hospital operating room settings
• Collaborate with NYU Langone Associate Director to ensure consistency in clinical education and resident evaluation
• Mentor pediatric dental residents in clinical education, research, and community service activities
• Strong background required in treating patients with special health care needs (SHCN)
• Participate in approximately 400 general anesthesia cases annually
• Take after-hours calls on a weekly basis for consultations and emergency care
• Work within clinic operational hours Monday-Friday 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Must be a graduate of an accredited dental school and CODA pediatric dental residency
• Current Washington State Dentist License required
• $30,000 hiring bonus and $20,000 relocation assistance available
