Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible hours that cater to both your schedule and those of our patients. However, you will also have the opportunity to work out of our outpatient office in Augusta when required. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Communicating effectively with supervisors, healthcare providers, family members, and guardians to discuss an individual’s progress and adjustments to their care plan.
\n
• Providing a structured calendar of appointments and home visits to ensure organized monitoring of patient progress.
\n
• Conducting home visits to perform in-home observations, reviews of treatment charts, and interviews with family members.
\n
• Overseeing the implementation of individualized treatment plans to assess effectiveness.
\n
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on patient care.
\n
• Documenting patient progress through monthly and quarterly notes, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to legal standards.
\n
• Organizing and conducting training for staff to ensure compliance with program procedures and effective use of documentation tools.
\n
• Following up with patients through additional interviews, home visits, and observations, ensuring continued support is provided.
\n
• Maintaining accurate records accessible to interested parties while acting as a liaison between the public and mental health community to support program development.

In this role, you will work with diverse patient populations, including both adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical considerations in mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a wide range of clients.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care are highly desirable. These additional skills will enhance our ability to provide comprehensive and specialized treatment options to our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
