Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Role:

• Lead the month-end close process

• Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as they arise

• Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis

• Help develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of new workflows

• Assist with inventory analysis and cost accounting activities as responsibilities expand

• Support special projects, including future ERP implementation initiatives

Requirements for the Senior Accountant Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to general ledger accounting and month-end close

• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
