About This Role The Nurse Educator Level II for Mother Child Health is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating nursing educational programs. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are passionate about education and improving nursing practices. Highlights Pay: $161,254/year Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center Department/Unit: NURSING INSERVICE EDUCATION Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift (7:30 A.M – 4:00 P.M) What You'll Do Coordinate nursing educational programs and activities for an assigned health care setting. Participate in planning and conducting nursing staff development programs. Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate in-service nursing orientation. Identify and collect information related to learning needs. Conduct program evaluations that measure learning impact and outcomes. Assess learners’ progress and adjust educational activities as needed. Contribute to competency assessment by monitoring nursing staff's knowledge. Serve on nursing and health care setting committees as assigned. Instruct and provide in-service education for new products and updates. Develop teaching and learning strategies to promote participant engagement. Requirements Education Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related field required Experience Three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse, including one (1) year in nursing education Licenses & Certifications Valid New York State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required OB/GYN Certification preferred EMF Certification preferred NRP Certification preferred BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification preferred NYC Health and Hospitals is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
